Community Director

We are looking for a Community Director to oversee a 150-unit multi-family portfolio in Santa Rosa. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service to residents and vendors alike.

The ideal candidate has experience in general management, is detail-oriented, and uses sound judgment and common sense in day-to-day operations. While prior property management experience is a plus, we’re open to training the right person who demonstrates strong service skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle financial and operational responsibilities.

Qualified candidates encompass the following

Resident Relations & Problem Solving
You are committed to delivering a positive resident experience through responsive, respectful, and solutions-focused communication. You handle resident concerns with professionalism and tact, always maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Leadership & Accountability
You know how to lead by example, coach and motivate team members, set clear expectations, and manage performance. You take pride in cultivating a positive, productive team culture.

Operational & Financial Oversight
You have hands-on experience with core property operations, including rent collection, invoice processing, budget tracking, and assisting with financial reporting. You understand the importance of accuracy, compliance, and fiscal responsibility in property management.

Organization & Multitasking
You excel at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously — whether leasing, conducting property audits, processing applications, or coordinating marketing efforts. You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively under pressure.

Technology & Communication
You’re proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and ideally familiar with property management software like RealPage OneSite. You communicate clearly — both verbally and in writing — and can maintain a professional tone in all interactions.

General Requirements
Property management experience is preferred but not required if other key qualifications are met. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
